The Tango Femme Program is a dynamic and empowering tango class with the goal of creating awareness about gender equality by breaking away from traditional tango roles where the man leads and the woman follows. The program aims to provide women with the skills and confidence to take the lead on the dance floor, also addressing a well-known issue of the role imbalance in social dance.
Beyond breaking with convention, Tango Femme seeks to create a movement empowering women through tango dance. By learning the lead role, participants gain a deeper understanding of the dance, enhance their connection with their partners, and develop a sense of confidence and strength. The program fosters an environment of mutual respect and support, encouraging women to explore their potential in a traditionally male-dominated aspect of tango.
Through this program, women not only learn the technical aspects of leading but also experience the freedom and creativity that comes with it, making Tango Femme a powerful tool for personal growth and empowerment.
